For a long period, young researchers on gravity work separately. The high requirement of Mathematics such as differential geometry results in a high threshold on the research of gravity theory like General Relativity. Thus, the capable persons are separated among people. There is nothing bad for us to do our research alone, for innovation nowadays usually comes from a small spark of an individual. Nevertheless, academy needs communication. This is the reason for this blog. The blog aims at providing a platform for young physicists on gravity to communicate and share ideas, so that we can benefit from our participation.
About the Academy
The blog is for professional academic discussion of young physicists on gravity research. And hence, if you are a researcher of other area or you are coming for some public understanding of science content, this might not be a suitable place.
For the sake of professional discussion, here is what you need: calculus, basic knowledge of topology and differential manifold, tensor analysis, differential geometry & generalized Riemann spacetime, Lie derivative and Killing field, Special Theory of Relativity in 4-dimensional language, as well as basics of General Theory of Relativity. Predecessors are welcomed, however, authorities are not.
About the Language
The blogger is not a native speaker in English, so there will be some errors in expression. The blogger will appreciate it if you can point out any expression errors. Since English is the universal language in this planet, it will be chosen as the official language of the posts. And English will also be the suggested language for the communication.
